He&#8217;s also a lifelong resident of Polk County, NC. He&#8217;s married to his wife, Linda, and together they have two sons, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences Appalachian State University. He has spent 30 years working closely with USDA\u2019s (United States Department Of Agriculture) Farm Service Agency.
