Whether you are new to teaching in higher education or are an experienced instructor new to Western Carolina University, the Coulter Faculty Commons (CFC) is here to support you as you begin this new chapter. We hope you’ll think of us as a partner throughout your teaching journey. We look forward to getting to know you, celebrating your successes, and helping you thrive at WCU.

CFC works in collaboration with the Provost’s Office to offer New Faculty Orientation (NFO) each August. NFO allows you to connect with colleagues, and it provides important information to help you navigate your journey. You’ll learn about our students and helpful support units on campus, and you’ll network with many faculty, staff, and administrators that are here to help you succeed.
