The Recycle Bin will also show who deleted the content and when it was deleted.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Remote Recorder templates<\/strong> \u2014 Remote recorder admins can create customized device templates for each remote recorder, such as \u201crecord with video\u201d or \u201crecord without video.\u201d Users can choose their desired template for individual scheduled recordings. Today, this feature requires a pre-release version of our remote recorder client; please contact Panopto support for access. An updated version of the remote recorder client with full support for device templates will be publicly released soon, as will an API for modifying the template for individual scheduled recordings.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Powerpoint and Keynote slides download<\/strong> \u2014 Users can now choose to make their Powerpoint or Keynote slide decks downloadable within the interactive viewer.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Simplified sign-in within Panopto for Windows<\/strong> \u2014 Panopto for Windows now utilizes a web-based sign-in workflow, in the user\u2019s default browser. This results in improved compatibility with SSO providers, improved security, and fewer steps to sign-in, especially for re-authentication use cases.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Zoom Integration<\/strong> \u2014 With Panopto\u2019s updated Zoom integration, recorded meetings are automatically imported from Zoom Cloud to Panopto, making them searchable and securely shareable. Panopto intelligently selects the best video streams for each meeting, providing an optimized multi-stream viewing experience. The imported recordings also include the meeting transcript, chat, and attendee list. Admins can control the group of users whose meetings are imported, and can set the import folder for each user.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/nav>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ui-widget\" data-item-id=\"c17fa93c-b27a-424e-8f89-eb10aa98710e\" data-priority=\"\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"48:72;a\">\n<div class=\"articleBodyContainer cArticleBody\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"38:72;a\" data-aura-class=\"cArticleBody\">\n<div class=\"slds-text-longform uiOutputRichText\" dir=\"ltr\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"44:72;a\" data-aura-class=\"uiOutputRichText\">\n<hr \/>\n<h2 id=\"hTargetInstance2\" dir=\"ltr\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"45:72;a\">Behavior changes and new features<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"45:72;a\"><b>Settings updates<\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"45:72;a\">The following settings have changed in this release:<\/p>\n<ul data-aura-rendered-by=\"45:72;a\">\n<li dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Enable Embed Options UI in Embedded Session Picker<\/strong> \u2014 This setting controls whether the Embed Options UI is shown in the embedded session chooser, which users see when embedding Panopto videos within LMS and CMS integrations. This feature is turned ON by default.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Recycle bin available to non-admin users<\/strong> \u2014 This setting controls whether the Recycle Bin is available to all creators in addition to administrators. This feature is turned ON by default.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Email video deleter on restore<\/strong> \u2014 Setting used to enable email notification to the user who deleted a video when it is restored from the recycle bin. The email will contain a link to the video and information on who restored the video. This feature is turned ON by default.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Enable video preview<\/strong> \u2014 This setting controls whether the \u201cPreview Mode\u201d button is shown to users. When a user switches to preview mode, they can choose to watch videos in-line, within the session list or to launch videos in a new tab. This feature is currently in beta and it is OFF by default.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Allow Powerpoint downloads and external links<\/strong> \u2014 Specifies whether Powerpoint and Keynote downloads or other external links can be shown in the viewer.\u00a0 When enabled, content creators can choose to make their slides available for download. This feature is ON by default.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Sort &#8220;Shared With Me&#8221; page by &#8220;Shared date&#8221;<\/strong> \u2014 This setting changes the default sort order for the \u201cShared with Me\u201d page to list videos by the date they were shared, with most recent shares first. This feature is currently in beta and is OFF by default.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Show &#8220;Go to Parent Folder&#8221; button in Embedded Session List page<\/strong> \u2014 This setting controls whether the \u201cGo up to parent\u201d button appears within the embedded session list page, allowing easier navigation into, and out of, subfolders.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2 id=\"hTargetInstance2\" dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"45:72;a\"><em>Beta <\/em>Features\u00a0coming in 2020&#8230;<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"45:76;a\">A few Beta features not yet ready for production are currently being tested on our staging server.<\/p>\n<ul data-aura-rendered-by=\"45:76;a\">\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Panopto Web (BETA)<\/strong> \u2014 Users can record multi-stream videos from their browser without installing any plugins or client software. Recordings can capture multiple audio and video sources, as well as entire screens, specific apps, and Chrome tabs. While we continue to gather beta feedback, this feature will only be available to site administrators. Initially, it will be supported only in Chrome and Chromium-based browsers. This feature will be enabled for only admin users when in Beta but can be turned off from site-settings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Video Preview (BETA)<\/strong> \u2014 Users will be able to preview videos when browsing and searching in Panopto\u2019s list interfaces, so they can find critical information faster. The new preview mode allows users to watch their videos in-line wherever they are without having to go to a different tab. If they choose to, they can still open the video in a new tab or watch it as full-screen. If the preview mode is off, then the behavior for watching any videos is unchanged. The preview mode will allow users to more efficiently browse and search for videos, so they can access relevant information faster. This feature is an opt-out feature but the preview mode is off for each user till they decide to turn it ON for themselves. Admins can also choose to turn off the entire feature using a site-setting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Slack Integration (BETA)<\/strong> \u2014 Users will be able to search for Panopto videos from directly within the Slack app\u00a0and share them with channels and direct messages with just one click.
