{"id":15955,"date":"2020-07-02T20:12:14","date_gmt":"2020-07-02T20:12:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/affiliate.wcu.edu\/cfc\/?p=15955"},"modified":"2021-05-17T11:27:34","modified_gmt":"2021-05-17T15:27:34","slug":"respondus-trainings-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/affiliate.wcu.edu\/cfc\/blog\/2020\/07\/02\/respondus-trainings-available\/","title":{"rendered":"Respondus Trainings Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At the current time WCU has an agreement with Respondus for three tools.<\/p>\n<p>One is a limited tool that gives faculty an ability to import text quizzes into the LMS and export them from the LMS.\u00a0 That tool is called Respondus 4.0.<\/p>\n<p>The other two are related to proctoring of remote tests.\u00a0 One product, Respondus Lockdown Browser can be used without the other Respondus Monitor, but Monitor cannot be used without the Lockdown Browser.<\/p>\n<p>WCU has published information about how to use these tools in the WCU Blackboard environment, but, if faculty have an interest in more intensive training, the Vendor is providing training.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/web.respondus.com\/webinars\/\">Feel free to check out the Respondus training options<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Faculty who are going to require the Respondus Monitor need to inform students that they will be recorded during exams.\u00a0 Sample language is available in the CFC sample syllabus.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the current time WCU has an agreement with Respondus for three tools.
