The following Canvas features use the Rich Content<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Editor:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Announcements,\u00a0Assignments,\u00a0Discussions,\u00a0Pages,\u00a0Quizzes\u00a0and\u00a0Syllabus.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Menus are listed above the toolbar where you can find\u00a0the all\u00a0features available in the RCE. *<\/em><\/span>Note: There are\u00a0some\u00a0less\u00a0common\u00a0features only available in the menus and not the toolbar.\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Toolbar<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>[<\/span><\/b>2<\/span><\/b>]<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

B<\/span>uttons on the toolbar\u00a0<\/span>are\u00a0<\/span>condensed and grouped by related function. Click<\/span>ing the<\/span>\u00a0down arrow next to buttons<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>similar to\u00a0the Apps & Integrations button\u00a0<\/span>[<\/span>4<\/span>]\u00a0<\/span>reveals a\u00a0<\/span>full<\/span>er<\/span>\u00a0list of\u00a0<\/span>choices<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The buttons for Panopto and Office 365 are\u00a0<\/span>featured as<\/span>\u00a0top-level buttons in the RCE. Additional integrations are available by clicking the\u00a0<\/span>External\u00a0<\/span>Apps\u00a0<\/span>& Integrations\u00a0<\/span>button\u00a0<\/span>[<\/span><\/b>4<\/span><\/b>]<\/span><\/b>. Click<\/span>ing<\/span>\u00a0View All\u00a0<\/span>[5]<\/span><\/b>\u00a0reveals a full<\/span>\u00a0list of available integrations<\/span>. C<\/span>lick on the title\u00a0<\/span>of the app\u00a0<\/span>from the\u00a0<\/span>popup\u00a0<\/span>menu\u00a0<\/span>to\u00a0<\/span>select it. *<\/em><\/span>Note: Recently used\u00a0apps\/integrations\u00a0will be listed in a\u00a0quick-list\u00a0under the plugin button.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The status bar under the menu\u00a0<\/span>is where you<\/span>\u00a0can find\u00a0<\/span>the Accessibility Checker\u00a0<\/span>[7]<\/span><\/b>,\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>Raw HTML Editor mode\u00a0<\/span>button\u00a0<\/span>[<\/span><\/b>8<\/span><\/b>]<\/span><\/b>\u00a0and a button to go Fullscreen\u00a0<\/span>[<\/span><\/b>9<\/span><\/b>]<\/span><\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/b>Note: A Keyboard Shortcuts reminder is also available in the Status bar area.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Important to note:<\/strong><\/em> If your screen is too narrow to show the entire toolbar, Canvas will compact some of the items into a More button at the end of the toolbar. Click the More button to see the rest of them.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
