Educators’ Perceptions on Ungrading in Higher Education<\/h2>\n

Hello,\u00a0<\/span>my name is Ky Johnson, and I am a graduate student in the School Psychology master\u2019s program<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>at Western Carolina University. The\u00a0purpose of this survey is to explore faculty members’<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>feelings related to student performance, the grading\u00a0process,\u00a0and the controversial topic of<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>“ungrading.”\u00a0Ungrading\u00a0relies on faculty providing extensive feedback on student assessments,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>aimed at helping the student\u00a0to learn\u00a0and improve, instead of providing letter grades.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You are invited to participate in a research survey exploring educators’ perspectives on ungrading in higher education. Your insights are valuable and will make a meaningful contribution to this study.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This survey is completely anonymous. You will not be asked to share\u00a0identifying\u00a0information,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>and individual results will not be shared. Participation in this survey is completely optional. This<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>survey should take 5 – 15 minutes to complete.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
