The\u00a0UNC System\u00a0has created\u00a0a Foundational Generative\u00a0AI Literacy\u00a0and Responsible Use\u00a0Course.\u00a0The purpose of this course is to\u00a0assist\u00a0students in developing critical understanding, evaluation, and use of generative AI.   1. Learners will explain what generative AI (Gen AI) tools are and how they work.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Learners will\u00a0identify\u00a0the benefits and challenges of using Gen AI in various academic, professional, and creative settings.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Learners will critically evaluate Gen AI outputs for errors and biases.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Learners will demonstrate Gen AI literacy skills responsibly in a range of academic, professional, and creative settings.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
