Glenda B. Shepardson
She was born February 3, 1952 and was the daughter of the late William Edwin Bailey and the late Mary Ann Hall Bailey of Candler, NC. Glenda earned her Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics from Western Carolina University and retired as a Child Nutrition Coordinator from Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jerry Shepardson of Salisbury, NC; her daughter Sarah Ann of Mt. Pleasant and her son, William Kyle of Concord, NC. Glenda is also survived by her five grandchildren, Bailey, Mylie, Connor, Henry and Ellis. They were the love of her life. In addition, she is survived by a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 12, 2025 at 3:30 PM in Summersett Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Parsons officiating.
