Randy P. Foster

Randy Paul Foster, 68, of Candler, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026. Born on June 22, 1957, in Asheville, North Carolina, Randy lived a life full of love, laughter, and music.

Randy graduated from Western Carolina University in 1979 with a degree in Industrial Technology. His education laid the foundation for a successful career and reflected his dedication to hard work and learning. Beyond his professional pursuits, Randy was known for his vibrant personality and his remarkable sense of humor. His quick wit and dry comebacks brought joy to those around him and left an indelible mark on everyone he met.

A talented musician, Randy was an exceptional guitar player and vocalist who shared his passion for music as a member of The Doghouse Band for many years. His performances were a testament to his creativity and love for connecting with others through music.

Randy’s greatest pride and joy were his family. He is survived by his wife, Neteka Foster; his children Clay (Tara), Heath (Ashley), and Diana; and his cherished grandchildren Wesley, Johnny, Charlotte, Riley, and Grayson. He also leaves behind his brother Barry (Susan) and sister Lisa Sellers (Reggie) and many nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary Lois Foster.

Randy’s love for his children and grandchildren ran deep. He embraced every moment spent with them, creating memories that will be treasured forever. His outgoing nature made him a friend to many, while his humor brought light even in the darkest times.

May Randy’s memory bring comfort to all who knew him. His legacy of love, laughter, and music will continue to resonate in the hearts of those he touched. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
