Rochelle Hika, 58, of Andrews passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026 in a Knoxville, Tennessee hospital. She was a native of Lakewood, Ohio and had lived most of her life in Florida before moving to Andrews 16 years ago. Rochelle had received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Western Carolina University. She was employed as a physical therapist and speech language pathologist for more than 30 years. Rochelle loved to quilt and enjoyed running.
She was the daughter of the late Kittrell Clark Strunc.
Surviving are her husband, Curtiss Hika, to whom she was married for 14 years and together for 28 years. Also surviving are a son, Daniel Feldhaus of Andrews; her father, Richard T. Strunc of Gilbert, Arizona; a sister, Tamara Albin of Charleston, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
