Charles Louie Fisher, 84, of Brevard, NC, peacefully passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at his home.
Charles was born on May 22, 1942, in Lake Toxaway. NC to the late Julia Breedlove and Paul “Hawkeye” Fisher. He is also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 34 years, Christine Aiken Fisher.
Charles attended Brevard College, Western Carolina University, and NC State. He later worked at the Ecusta paper plant in Brevard, NC. He was a lifetime member of the Flitter Mouse Grotto.
He had a wide range of interests and passions, including SpaceX, caving, gardening, and reading science fiction books.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Nancy B. Mahlum of Brevard, NC; granddaughter, Annika Mahlum of Brevard, NC; great-grandson, Daniel Aiden McCall of Brevard, NC; great-granddaughter, Izzy Mahlum of Brevard, NC; sister, Charlene and Keith Harbin of Lake Toxaway, NC; and niece, Meredith Grissom of Brevard, NC.
