Donna L. Payne

Donna Lynn Payne, age 73, of Asheville passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025.

Donna was born on June 20, 1951, in Guilford County, North Carolina and was a resident of Buncombe County since 1973.

She attended Brevard College for two years and graduated from Western Carolina University with a nursing degree. Donna did private duty nursing most of her career.

She was the daughter of the late Reverend Don A. Payne and Elizabeth “Lib” Jones Payne.

Surviving is her sister, Cindy Payne Plemmons and husband Jack; her brother Scotty Payne; niece Rebecca Stacey McArthur; nephew Audrey Scott McArthur and wife Mandy and their children, Brady, Cole and Audrey.
