Before marrying her cherished husband, “Jack,” she also pursued her passion for music with a brief tenure at Juilliard in New York.
Linda was a dedicated student of the Bible and religious studies, as well as holistic health. As a committed member of the United Methodist Church in Sylva, she graced the choir with her beautiful voice. Her musical talents extended to the Western Carolina University Community Chorus, where she sang with joy for many years.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, John H. Morris Jr., and her two sons, Robert and David Morris, as well as her daughter-in-law, Sherry, and her twin grandchildren Gabriel and Gwendolyn; also sister Barbara Butcher, and niece Eleanor Haddad, Lillian Willis and cousin Nancy DeBoard. Although she has left this earthly realm, her spirit resonates in the hymns she sang, for she is singing with the angels now.
