He is preceded in death by his loving wife Gracie; parents, Charles and Laura Wright; sisters, Mary Crisp and Patricia Holbert and brother Edward Phillip Wright. David is survived by his adoring son Aaron Wright (Carolyn), and two beloved Grandchildren Sage and Rosalie Wright. David is also survived by three siblings, Charles &#8220;Sonny&#8221; Wright (Gladys) of Newnan, GA, Becky Roberts (Rob) of Summerville, SC, and James &#8220;Boodie&#8221; Wright (Autumn) of Candler, in addition to many dear nephews and nieces.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-body1 css-as8hyk css-9l3uo3\">Born in Arden, NC, David was a lifetime resident of Asheville, NC. Following high school at T.C. Roberson, he entered the U.S. Army where he served for 3 years. Following his military service, David completed both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration from Western Carolina University. Following graduation, David was employed by Eaton Corporation for over 35 years before retiring. His days in retirement were filled with things he enjoyed including traveling, fishing, golfing and spending time with family.
