She later earned her Master\u2019s degree in Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Marsha retired from the education field after teaching in North Carolina and Texas. As a devoted member of Grace Community Church, she served as a Stephen\u2019s Minister in addition to contributing and volunteering at many other civic organizations. She took great joy in working with those in need through her concentrated efforts with Greensboro Urban Ministry, Hannah\u2019s Haven, and Step Up Greensboro.
