Donna Lynn Payne, age 73, of Asheville passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025.<\/p>\n

Donna was born on June 20, 1951, in Guilford County, North Carolina and was a resident of Buncombe County since 1973.<\/p>\n

She attended Brevard College for two years and graduated from Western Carolina University with a nursing degree. Donna did private duty nursing most of her career.<\/p>\n

She was the daughter of the late Reverend Don A. Payne and Elizabeth \u201cLib\u201d Jones Payne.<\/p>\n

Surviving is her sister, Cindy Payne Plemmons and husband Jack; her brother Scotty Payne; niece Rebecca Stacey McArthur; nephew Audrey Scott McArthur and wife Mandy and their children, Brady, Cole and Audrey.
