Patrick’s life was defined by his profound love for his family, his community, and his passions.

Above all, Patrick loved his family deeply. He had a special bond with his mom, Nancy, whose love and support meant everything to him.

Patrick was a proud father. He took immense joy in watching his daughter, Caroline; perform whether in a recital, a theater production, or a special vocal performance. Patrick was always the proudest parent in the room. He was a constant presence on the sidelines, cheering passionately for his son, Chip, as he played sports year-round. Whether he was coaching or in the stands, Patrick’s commitment to supporting Chip and his teammates was steadfast.

A graduate of Western Carolina University, Patrick had great love for the Western North Carolina Mountains. His “Catamount Pride” was unmistakable, and he could often be seen wearing his signature purple socks.

In his professional life, Patrick was known for his ability to connect with others.
