She was born in Bryson City, NC on August 30, 1942, a daughter of the late Christine and Edgar Fisher.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-body1 css-as8hyk css-9l3uo3\">After graduating from Swain County High School, Peggy attended Western Carolina University, where she earned her bachelor\u2019s in education. She became a first grade teacher in Bryson City and was beloved by her students. When her children were born, Peggy became a stay-at-home mom; family was always her highest priority and greatest joy. She was a loving wife, caring mother, and adoring grandmother.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-body1 css-as8hyk css-9l3uo3\">Peggy and Bill were together for 35 years, traveling the world. She owned and operated a florist shop for many years, serving her community. Peggy was a long-time member of First Baptist Spartanburg, which was evidenced by her selfless nature. She was a generous, loving woman, donating food and blankets to the homeless and always willing to help anyone in need.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-body1 css-as8hyk css-9l3uo3\">She is survived by her children, Maria Reinertson (Ross Vinsant) and McKrae Game (Jimmy Palmer) of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Christian, Brent, Reese, and Bryce Reinertson and Seth and Caroline Game; and sister, Judy Moody (Reg) of Sylva, NC.
