Aileen was born in Buncombe County, NC on September 30, 1934. Aileen was the daughter of the late Hugh Baldwin Campbell and Emma Lee Jordan Campbell. She was also proceeded in death by her husband Robert Gordan Fleming and brother Hugh B. Campbell, Jr.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subscriber-preview\">\n<p>Survivors include her loving daughters Dawn Haney Sloan of Columbia, SC and Vicki Haney Walker Mills (Danny) of Canton, NC, sister Sue Campbell Morrow (Joe) of Waynesville, NC, stepdaughter Pam Fleming Davis (Bryan) of Sparta, GA, step grandson Chris Davis (Christy) of Columbia, SC, great-granddaughter Emma Lou Davis, and her fur baby Molly. Aileen is also survived by her first husband Richard Helmick Haney (Ann) of Spruce Pine, NC.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subscriber-only\">\n<p>Aileen was a 1952 graduate of Waynesville Township High School. Aileen earned her Bachelors of Science in nursing from Western Carolina University. She was a registered nurse, working at Highland Hospital, Neil Dobbins Center, and the Balsam Center where she greatly enjoyed her psych patients. Aileen also volunteered her nursing skills to Harare African Township and Mashonaland East Province of Zimbabwe. Aileen lived a full life and loved her travels across the USA as well as Canada, England, France, Switzerland, Mexico, Korea, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Italy, and Greece.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subscriber-only\">\n<p>Aileen also lived in Waynesville, Brevard, Murphy, Asheville, and Weaverville, NC where she made many friends. In Brevard, Aileen was a substitute teacher and a member of Brevard Little Theater. She loved being an artist and painted portraits of a lot of her patients.
