Ricky Dwayne Thomas of Whiteville N.C. passed on November 16, 2025. He was born on June 1, 1977 in Charlotte, N.C. to Randy and Peggy Slack Thomas of Chadbourn, N.C.<\/p>\n

He graduated from Western Carolina University and loved music, travel, and camping.<\/p>\n

He is survived by his lifelong partner Marjorie Lanier Thomas “Joi”; son, Holden E. Thomas of Whiteville N.C.; brother, Alan Thomas of Chadbourn, N.C.; sister, Courtney Register (Lee) of Whiteville, N.C.; nieces, Tru Grace Thomas (Austin) of Chadbourn, N.C., Brianna Thomas of Whiteville, N.C.; great niece, Alayna Grace Sanders of Chadbourn, N.C. and his parents.<\/p>\n

His memorial service will held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Western Prong Baptist Church with Rev. Nate Lynch officiating. The family will receive friends 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service at the Church.<\/p>\n
