{"id":18305,"date":"2025-01-28T20:32:01","date_gmt":"2025-01-28T20:32:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/affiliate.wcu.edu\/comm\/?p=18305"},"modified":"2025-01-28T20:32:01","modified_gmt":"2025-01-28T20:32:01","slug":"nonverbal-communication-course-teaches-practical-skills-beyond-the-classroom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/affiliate.wcu.edu\/comm\/blog\/2025\/01\/28\/nonverbal-communication-course-teaches-practical-skills-beyond-the-classroom\/","title":{"rendered":"Nonverbal Communication Course Teaches Practical Skills Beyond the Classroom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Nora Radway Moore, an instructor of Nonverbal Communication, helps students unlock the often-overlooked power of nonverbal behavior in both their personal and professional lives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cNonverbal communication is an extremely powerful tool that we often overlook,\u201d said Moore. \u201cIn this course, I try to focus on practical applications of the skills and concepts we cover to show students how these skills will benefit them beyond the classroom and even beyond academic contexts.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The course examines nonverbal behavior across various contexts, including interpersonal relationships, intercultural communication, and organizational settings.
