Last year the parade was temporarily rebranded as the Asheville Holiday Jamboree because of the damage Hurricane Helene left to the area.
In past years WLOS would cover the event and although the demand was high they chose not to do it this time around.
When WheeTV heard about this they saw it as a great opportunity.
\u201cWorking on these events remind me of how much I love my job,\u201d said WheeTV General Manager Jacob Pendergraph. \u201cI\u2019m thankful to the crew\u2019s willingness to jump in on this shoot and help out on such short notice.\u201d
This event marked the first collaboration between WheeTV and the Asheville Downtown Association.
