Members have the opportunity to travel across the country for tournaments and improve their communication skills and legal knowledge outside of the classroom. No experience is required for members, nor are they required to be in communication or law majors. WCU’s Mock Trial is available for anyone interested in expanding their law, public speaking, acting and debate skills.

The Western team won multiple ballots in their victory against Wofford College and Berry College. In addition to that, every team member was ranked one of the best attorneys or best witnesses for at least one trial.

Notably, Jaryn Green, a junior majoring in Political Science and International Studies, won two top attorney awards in the tournament.
