The Liberty, Community, and Prosperity Weekend Seminar was led by three talented guest faculty:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.polisci.washington.edu\/people\/anthony-gill\">Anthony Gill | Department of Political Science | University of Washington<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Professor Gill gave two presentations: &#8220;Culture and Political Economy: The Critical Role of Civil Society in Preserving Market Freedom.&#8221; &amp; &#8220;The Dynamic Efficiency of Gifting&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.audreyredford.com\/\">Audrey Redford <\/a>| Department of Economics | Hampden-Sydney College<\/p>\n<p>Professor Redford presented: \u201cPrivate and Public Choice\u201d &amp; \u201cMalnovation, Drug Prohibition, and the Opioid Crisis\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.huntingdon.edu\/directory\/witcher-marcus\/\">Marcus Witcher | Huntingdon College<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Professor Witcher gave talks on: \u201cHow Government Restricted African American Flourishing\u201d &amp; \u201cBlack Liberation through the Marketplace\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The weekend seminar was a success! Over 50 individual students attended one or more presentations, with a total attendance of over 100 for the weekend. Our guest faculty continued the discussions with students over meals and into the evening socials.
