According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/politics\/2026\/05\/11\/americans-see-health-care-costs-deficit-inflation-as-big-problems-facing-the-nation\/\">Pew Foundation, 73% of U.S. adults now say affordability of health care is a very big problem<\/a>. On September 28th at 6pm in Forsyth 101A, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/college-debates-discourse-alliance\/\">College Debates and Discourse Alliance<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/affiliate.wcu.edu\/csfe\/\">The Center for the Study of Free Enterprise<\/a> at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/western-carolina-university\/\">Western Carolina University<\/a> will cohost the campus-wide debate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cShould the U.S. adopt a Universal Healthcare System run by the Federal Government?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please join us at 6pm for food and beverages before the 6:30pm debate.
