Hinds University Center theater. The program will be led by Loren Lomasky, a professor of political philosophy, policy and law at the University of Virginia.<br \/>\nLomasky will discuss voting and troubling political developments in democratic societies from Turkey to Poland, Hungary to the Philippines, as well as current events in America. He will give his response to the questions \u201cis democracy in decline and does your vote matter anymore?\u201d<br \/>\nLomansky also is an adjunct scholar with the Cato Institute and the author of \u201cPersons, Rights and the Moral Community.\u201d He has held research appointments sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Center for the Study of Public Choice.<br \/>\nWith three events each semester, WCU\u2019s Free Enterprise Speaker Series offers \u201ca forum for the campus and community to explore all points of view on important issues of the day, hear from renowned experts from a variety of fields and understand multiple perspectives through civil, informed discourse,\u201d said Edward Lopez, WCU professor of economics and director of the university\u2019s Center for the Study of Free Enterprise, which sponsors the series.
