Scholar Benefits
ProjectINTERACT scholars experience several benefits. Students who are awarded one year traineeships with our grant program:
- Are awarded a full tuition scholarship, at an in-state rate, for one full year (out-of-state students are responsible for that portion of their expenses to include the 3 ProjectINTERACT courses in the summer semester).
- Participate in 5 courses to prepare them for working with students with students with autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disabilities in an interprofessional care model.
- Work alongside nationally recognized experts in Autism and Intellectual Disabilities.
- Have access to a travel fund for continuing education.
- Earn a certificate of training post completion
Learn more about your obligations as a ProjectINTERACT scholar. In exchange for your tuition waiver, you are required to work for two years in settings serving IDEA eligible children.
