The Graduate Research Symposium will close with an awards ceremon<\/span>y celebrating the accomplishments of our graduate students and recognizing the contributions of <\/span>faculty, staff and others who<\/span>\u00a0value the mission and vision of graduate education at WCU. <\/span><\/p>\n

Provost Richard Starnes<\/span>, Graduate School Dean, Dr. Brian Kloeppel<\/span>\u00a0and Graduate School Associate Dean, Dr. Joy Bower<\/span>s<\/span>-Campbell will host the event. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Curtis W. Wood Award for Excellence in Graduate Student Mentoring<\/span><\/span>\u00a0Award<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n

The Curtis W. Wood Award for Excellence in Graduate Student Mentoring was established in 2015 thanks to the generosity and long-standing commitment to WCU graduate students from the esteemed Dr. Curtis Wood, Emeritus Professor of History, who served at WCU from 1969 to 2005.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
