Below is the outline of each day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><b><span data-ogsc=\"black\">Day 1 (Monday, Jan. 25): \u201cWe are #SoConUnited\u201d<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span data-ogsc=\"black\">Showcase the support for SAs, administration and faculty through storytelling\/social media posts to foster inclusive environments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><b><span data-ogsc=\"black\">Day 2 (Tuesday, Jan. 26): \u201cSpeak Up, Reflect and Learn\u201d<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span data-ogsc=\"black\">Focusing on dialogue, reflection and education is an important step in showing unity and support.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><b><span data-ogsc=\"black\" data-ogsb=\"yellow\">Day 3 (Wednesday, Jan. 27): \u201cThe Power of your Platform\u201d<\/span><\/b><b><span data-ogsc=\"black\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><b><span data-ogsc=\"red\">Register\u00a0<\/span><\/b><b><span data-ogsc=\"black\">at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/uncg.zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/tJwlde6hrDotH9PJcNvPC8m_KaJ6c91vBF1X\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-ogsc=\"\">shorturl.at\/admY1<\/a><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span data-ogsc=\"black\">Showcase the power of SA\/coaches\/admins\u2019 platforms to make a difference and stand up against racial inequality and injustice. On Wednesday, January 27th at 7 p.m. ET, join moderator Dr. Denise Gregory, Faculty Athletics Representative at Samford University, and panelists:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormalCxSpMiddle\" data-ogsc=\"black\">Alvin Scioneaux \u2013 Former Linebacker for the Wofford College \u201813 Football team. Current Mechanical Engineer for Northrop Grumman.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormalCxSpMiddle\" data-ogsc=\"black\"><b>Donovan Spencer \u2013 Redshirt Sr RB, Western Carolina University FB<\/b><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormalCxSpMiddle\" data-ogsc=\"black\">Makenzie Jones \u2013 Graduate Student XC\/T&amp;F athlete, UT-Chattanooga<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormalCxSpMiddle\" data-ogsc=\"black\">Tori Powell \u2013Redshirt Sr, UNC Greensboro WBB<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><b><span data-ogsc=\"black\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><b><span data-ogsc=\"black\">Day 4 (Thursday, Jan. 28): \u201cMore than an Athlete\u201d<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span data-ogsc=\"black\">Providing a platform for SAs to share their stories beyond the stats they produce on the fields and courts of play.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><b><span data-ogsc=\"black\">Day 5 (Friday, Jan. 29): \u201cThey Did, So I Can\u201d<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span data-ogsc=\"black\">To end the week, the conference\u00a0<\/span>will be\u00a0<span data-ogsc=\"black\">recogniz<\/span>ing<span data-ogsc=\"black\">\u00a0the trailblazers who paved the way for those who came after them.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The below information was shared with all SoCon member schools.
