Western Carolina University is pleased to announce a myriad of professional development opportunities for WCU faculty and staff to promote Catamount resilience!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Process Communication Model Key to Me<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10794\" src=\"https:\/\/affiliate.wcu.edu\/staffsenate\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/370\/2021\/02\/pcm.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"193\" height=\"59\" \/><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Description: Participant will take a reliable, anonymous, and validated tool that identifies their personality structure. A crucial conversation is a discussion between two or more people where the stakes are high, opinions vary, and emotions run strong. Participants will:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 complete the self-paced, on-line Crucial Conversations course.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 attend periodic Zoom meetings for content reinforcement.<\/p>\n<p>Resiliency Outcomes:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Crucial Conversations gives people the skills to step into disagreement\u2014rather than over or around it\u2014and turn disagreement into dialogue for improved relationships and results.
