The Staff Senate Professional Development Funds are now closed for the 2022-2023 year. The application for the fiscal year 2023-2024 will open again in August.<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

APPLICATIONS Closed<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Staff Senate believes in you and we want to help you succeed in your career endeavors. For the fourth year in a row, the Staff Senate has partnered with the Office of Administration and Finance to provide supplementary funds for departments that do not have adequate funding to support their staff\u2019s professional development goals.<\/p>\n

“It will be a great personal opportunity for me, as higher education and marketing is constantly changing. It’s hard to keep up and it will be beneficial to be among peers from across the country to share ideas, concerns, new techniques, equipment, etc.”<\/p>\n

The Staff<\/strong>\u00a0Senate is beyond thankful for a generous budget this academic year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Eligible professional development activities are funded up to $750, per employee, and are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you plan to participate in professional development activities this year and your department doesn\u2019t have sufficient funds, consider applying for this opportunity.\u00a0This fund is intended to be a supplemental fund; therefore, you must ask your supervisor for departmental funding before applying for this award.<\/em><\/p>\n

Eligible activities include conferences, workshops, college admission exams, seminars, certification programs, memberships, travel expenses related to professional development.<\/p>\n
