Join a health and fitness center today!\u00a0 WCU offers membership to our very own recreation center for a payroll deduction of $15 a month. If the University recreation center does not work with your daily schedule, there are a number of options in both Jackson County and Haywood County. The good news is that most give discounts for WCU Employees. For example you can get a 20% discount to Haywood Regional Health & Fitness Center just for being a WCU employee! Other health and fitness locations that give discounts include Awaken Health and Fitness and Waynesville Recreation Center.<\/p>\n
If you have a large family or have a group of 8 or more people, then Jackson County Recreation may be for you. We have priced out some example membership costs for individual plans for 6 months. There may be a bigger discount if you want to add the family. Please talk to the Health and Fitness Center for more information.<\/p>\n
