The Staff Senate Scholarship supports currently enrolled or accepted, incoming students, who are children and relatives of SHRA and EHRA non-faculty employees.\u00a0\u00a0The scholarship is awarded to students each year through the university scholarship application process, opening on October 1 of each year. \u00a0Award preference is given to the children and dependents of WCU employees, including those of the University\u2019s contractual employees.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(102, 102, 102)\">Currently enrolled or accepted students can apply via:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Log into myWCU\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Click the\u00a0<em>Scholarships<\/em>\u00a0tab in the\u00a0<em>My Financial Aid Status box<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Click\u00a0<em>Apply for or Accept Scholarships<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Complete the General Scholarship Application\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The February 1 deadline to apply for the Staff Senate Scholarship fund is quickly approaching!
