I originally started working at WCU in 2017. After a brief period not at WCU in 2020, I was very excited to return again later that year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" data-ogsb=\"white\"><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(5, 5, 5)\"><strong>Why did you choose Human Resources as a career?<\/strong> I started working part-time in HR<\/span><span data-ogsc=\"black\">\u00a0and found myself really liking the work involved. I enjoy working with people and providing assistance. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" data-ogsb=\"white\"><span data-ogsc=\"black\"><strong>What is your role in human resources?<\/strong> My title in Human Resources is Non-Work Study Student Employment Consultant. I help departments across campus hire and <\/span><span data-ogsc=\"red\">onboard <\/span><span data-ogsc=\"black\">their <\/span><span data-ogsc=\"red\">non-work study <\/span><span data-ogsc=\"black\">student workers. \u00a0In addition, I have created and\/or revised resources to support student supervisors, such as the Compensation Guide, Posting and Hiring Proposal Workflows, student supervisor training sessions, and much more.<\/span><span data-ogsc=\"red\">\u00a0 We hire 850+ students each semester.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" data-ogsb=\"white\"><strong>What do you like most about working at WCU? <\/strong><span data-ogsc=\"black\">I enjoy working with the people at WCU the most.
