Matt shared his thoughts on HR from this perspective, \u201c <\/span><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(47, 85, 151)\">I can\u2019t sing or dance, not smart enough to be a doctor, bad at math so no engineering, and didn\u2019t want to be a lawyer. I like helping people and it fits!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" data-ogsb=\"white\"><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(5, 5, 5)\"><strong>What is your role in human resources?<\/strong> Matt is the Director of Benefits, Classification and Compensation.\u00a0 He and his staff provide Benefits orientation to all new employees as they join WCU.\u00a0 In addition, he is the resident expert on not only the state health plan, but also on all things retirement.\u00a0 He has successfully helped many WCU employees through the retirement process and still hears from many grateful former employees.\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" data-ogsb=\"white\"><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(5, 5, 5)\"><strong>What do you like most about working at WCU?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(47, 85, 151)\">Great place with great people doing work that is guiding young people to successful lives.
