Open Enrollment for the 2026 State Health Plan runs from <strong>October 13 through October 31, 2025<\/strong>. All employees will <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">need to take action<\/span> this year!<\/div>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\">Be sure to log in to your enrollment portal early to avoid last-minute issues. Additional resources and support will be available through Human Resources and the State Health Plan website.<\/div>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\">Reminder: There are new plan names and plan designs this year. The BASE PPO (70\/30) plan is now called the STANDARD PPO PLAN and the BASE PPO (80\/20) plan is now called the PLUS PPO PLAN. The North Carolina State Health Plan has also implemented new salary-based premiums which means you will be assigned to one of four salary bands based on your September 1, 2025 salary.<\/div>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\">If you have questions or need assistance, don\u2019t hesitate to reach out to the HR benefits team at 828-227-7218.
