Students can apply for the Staff Senate Scholarship through the WCU application available through myWCU. The scholarship application opened on <strong>October 1st and will close on February 1st, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As a reminder, to better support our Catamount community, the scholarship preference now extends to immediate family members or household residents of SHRA and EHRA Non-Faculty employees, retirees, and deceased employees. This includes spouses, partners, parents, siblings, dependents, stepchildren, and grandchildren.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\">This change helps us continue honoring the dedication of our staff while expanding opportunities for their loved ones to reach their educational goals.<\/div>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\">Thanks to your continued support, the Staff Senate Scholarship Fund is making a real difference for students connected to the WCU family!<\/div>\n<div>Keep up-to-date on the Staff Senate Scholarship\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/affiliate.wcu.edu\/staffsenate\/scholarship-fund%E2%80%A6onal-development\/\">here<\/a>.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The University Scholarship Application is now open!
