Our February WNC Elementary STEM Community of Practice virtual gathering will take place on February 18th from 4:00-5:00pm on Zoom. After a brief introduction, our highlight will focus on Engaging Students in a STEAM Fair. Kristin Menickelli from Cullowhee Valley School in Jackson County will share her journey into the STEAM Fair and leading efforts at her K-8 school. She will discuss the process of engaging students in STEAM projects, resources for students and teachers, and reflections on lessons learned along the way. After the highlight, we will engage in breakout room discussions to connect and collaboratively consider ways to apply ideas in our own settings. Click here to register.
