Attendees of the conference can also expect to learn about marketing, business planning, and financial management through workshops, meetings, a farmers market summit, and more!

The Business of Farming Conference works to bring the agricultural community together to network and share resources to support the healthy growth of farm businesses. Aspiring, beginning, and professional farmers are all invited to attend! ASAP offers a discount for farm partners registering together and has scholarships available for limited resource farms and BIPOC farmers. Additionally, they are offering a travel stipend and hotels for farmers market leadership traveling more than 50 miles, one way. Registration is $95 per person and includes breakfast, and a lunch locally sourced and sponsored by Farm Burger.

ASAP is a nonprofit organization that began in the mid-1990s, that works to connect farmers with other farmers, supporters, and markets to build healthy communities through local food. They were created to help reverse farm loss in Western North Carolina and help farmers to transition to viable crops. ASAP also created the first Local Food Guide and an Annual Report that updates the community on their vision, work, impact, resources, and staff.
