Lessons from a Farmer: Keeping the Land Together – NCAMP Attends the Farm Succession Workshop on June 10

Mediation Director, Bob Holbert, attended the Farm Succession Working Group Zoom Meeting on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Key players in Succession Workshops and succession planning with farmers were in attendance. A new video was introduced entitled “Lessons from a Farmer: Keeping the Land Together”. The subject video explains how employing an LLC helped a North Carolina farm family protect their family’s legacy and preserve the farmland for future generations. Upcoming Succession events announced in Orange County – June 25th, Jackson County – July 9th, Chatham County – July 10th, Madison County – TBA; and planning for county events in Henderson and Buncombe.
