On February 9, 2026, Bob Holbert presented the North Carolina Agricultural Mediation Program (NCAMP) to attendees of the Cooperative Extension Service of Jackson County’s three-part workshop designed to equip farm families with the knowledge, tools and resources needed to achieve effective transition planning for their properties. In this second session, a farm theatre skit was presented, and there was a panel discussion of succession issues during which NCAMP’s services were explained: mediation of agricultural disputes, credit counseling, and farm succession planning. Brittany Whitmire, NC Cooperative Extension Economist, was moderator of the panel discussion, and Minda Daughtry, Jackson County Cooperative Extension, was in charge of this exceptional program! NCAMP was glad to have been invited and pleased to be able to attend!
