NCAMP attended the Organic Growers Conference at Mars Hill, NC on March 8-9. The conference showcased vendors of products used in organic farming, as well as organically and naturally produced food and fiber products. Also attending were organizations and governmental entities that provide education and support for production, financing, and enhancement programs to assist organic growers. There were classes and workshops on topics pertinent to the organic farming community, in addition to Information about the process to qualify as an organic producer.
