Mediation Director Bob Holbert attended a meeting sponsored by the Rutherford County Soil and Water Conservation District on September 4th. An attorney from Ward and Street Law Firm explained the pilot project in Irrevocable Trust formulation for farm successions. Under this program, grants up to $6,000 each will be available to farm families making plans to transfer their farming operations to the next generation and preserve the land as farmland into the future.
