NCAMP and FARMVA held its annual training and advisory board meeting August 8-9 at the Berry Hill Resort in South Boston, Virginia. Speakers included Casey Thomson, a Clinical Professor of Law and the Director of Negotiation and Dispute Resolution Education at Duke Law School, Evan Davis, the Farmland Preservation Director for the NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Ebonie Alexander, the Executive Director of Black Family Land Trust, Carrie Martin, the Director of Agriculture and Conservation with Black Family Land Trust, and Gabriele Marewski, credit counselor for both FARMVA and NCAMP. It was an informative event in a beautiful setting!
