NCAMP Attends the Iredell County Cattleman’s Association

On July 17, 2025, Mediation Director Bob Holbert attended the Iredell County Cattleman’s Association.  The event was hosted by the Iredell County Extension Service who also sponsored the meal.  Interest was high for succession plans needed by the aging group of farmers.  Some were individual owners who were desirous to transfer farm operations and ownership to the next generation.  Others were sibling inheritors who had not yet divided their parents’ farm and needed to explore what was desired and expected going forward. Requests were received at this meeting for more than twice the number of current mediators.
