I met Lana in the summer of 1976 and we became fast friends. She was one of the smartest women I ever knew. She was extremely resourceful and was eager to help in any way that she could. We made countless trips to the mountains and beach. We also made trips to the Bahamas. She went to meet and visit my family in Missouri. I have been terribly ill for the past couple of years so we didn’t talk often but when we did it was like no time had lapsed. She truly was one of the best friends I’ve ever had and she will sorely be missed. She truly made the world a better place. God speed my friend.
