WheeTV embarked on its biggest project to date.
EJ Whitmire Stadium hosted the Tournament of Champions on October 18.
Tournament of Champions is a competition where bands from across the region gather to compete against one another. Judges critique each group based on categories such as music and visuals.
The event was livestreamed on the Pride of The Mountains YouTube channel and WheeTV worked from beginning to end.
WheeTV general manager Jacob Pendergraph started planning the collaboration eight months ago and served as the leader on the day of the event.
The crew worked well with one another and everything ran like clockwork.
“I dreamed of this day,” said Pendergraph. “I’m forever grateful to everyone who helped put this thing together.”
The Pride of the Mountains Marching Band performed at the end of the preliminary round and just before the final awards ceremony.
