Edward Lopez came to WCU in 2012 and he currently teaches classes in intermediate microeconomics, ethics of capitalism, and principles of economics. Edward first proposed the CSFE in the fall of 2015, and launched its operations in spring 2017. The author of two books and over 50 scholarly articles, Edward’s research focuses on the economics of ideas, entrepreneurship, and politics.

Dr. Angela Dills is Professor of Economics and the Gimelstob-Landry Distinguished Professor of Regional Economic Development at Western Carolina University. She received a B.A. from the University of Virginia and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from Boston University. She previously held faculty positions at Clemson University, Mercer University, Wellesley College, and Providence College. 

Audrey Redford is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the College of Business at Western Carolina University. She earned her Ph.D. in Agricultural & Applied Economics from Texas Tech University in 2016. Prior to attending Texas Tech, Dr. Redford earned her B.B.A. in Economics from James Madison University.
