Summary of Novel:

Andrew wanted freckles so bad. A boy in his class named Nicky Lane had freckles, so why couldn’t he? He was in class one day counting Nicky’s freckles but there were too many to count. He asked Nicky how he got them, and he said he was born with them. Sharon overhears his conversation  and offers him a secret recipe for fifty cents. THAT’S A WHOLE 5 weeks of allowance, but he agreed. When he got home his mom was at work so he started mixing, and when he was finished, he couldn’t wait, so he drank it. Suddenly he felt terrible! His mom got home, and she allowed him to stay home. After he felt better, he never trusted Sharon again!
