As shared in a previous post, WCU is participating in the 2020 UNC System Engagement survey to help shape the strategic directions of the university. At the end of last week the overall response rate for faculty is at 24% (137 out of 568). (Update as of 2/12 12 pm We are now at 34% faculty response rate with 195 out of 568) With a 50+% response response rate, the WCU Chancellor’s office has pledged to donate a $5,000 to the Faculty Senate Student Support fund. I urge faculty to participate in this survey, as this helps both with strategic planning and for helping students in financial distress.
I cannot post a link to the survey as each respondent is given a unique link to complete the survey. I urge WCU faculty to be on a look out for an email from ModernThink (Survey Administrator), which is scheduled to send a reminder email to those who have not yet completed the survey on Tuesday 2/11. We hope to send an update later this week.
